
Aliza Webster is a freelance video editor, animator, and motion graphics designer. She wanted to update her branding to match her experience and skills.

We started with a strategy session, where we defined her goal: to help elevate her clients’ branding and marketing with high-quality, attractive videos and motion graphics. We identified her target audience as videographers, marketing agencies, and graphic designers. Additionally, she wanted to offer video services to individuals seeking slideshows for events like camps and family gatherings.

The next step was to design her visual identity: the logo and brand assets. Aliza envisioned a sharp and professional brand image. Her only design requirement was a black background with bold and sharp, non-script fonts. Using a block font with some interesting shapes for the logo and simple sans serif fonts for the rest of the fonts, we kept it sharp and clean. The bright colors were a perfect balance of approachable and professional, working off the black and white bases.
We also turned her goal into a slogan - "Taking it to the next level" - and included icons and silhouette illustrations to bring her branding to life.

Once the branding was complete, I started to work on her website. The website's objectives are to showcase her video portfolio and introduce potential clients to her services. Throughout the website's design, I ensured that every element was consistent with her visual identity and made it easy for visitors to take the next step.
